Who’s behind the apps
GOLARIX LLC doo makes and publishes these apps. We’re registered in Serbia (company number 22019732), and our office is at Obilićev venac 18 (2. sprat, lokal 5.11), 11102 Beograd – Stari Grad, Serbia. When it comes to the personal data in this policy, we’re the “controller”: the ones responsible for it.
This policy covers PulseSense: Heart Tracker, QR Scanner – Scanra, Scroll Protector - App Blocker, SmartBooster and SnapBooster, and this website as well. Got a question? Write to apps@golarix.info.
The quick version
- Your photos, contacts and scan history are processed right on your iPhone. Your library and address book don’t get uploaded to us.
- Apple handles payments, so your card number never reaches us.
- Analytics and crash reports help us squash bugs. Each app’s own policy spells out exactly what they include.
- Your advertising ID gets used only if you say “Allow” when iOS asks about tracking.
- Selling personal data isn’t something we do.
- Want to see, fix or erase your data? Just ask.
App by app
Every app also has its own, more detailed policy, and for that app its own page has the final word: PulseSense, Scanra, Scroll Protector, SmartBooster and SnapBooster.
None of our apps can touch your camera, photos, contacts or Screen Time until you say yes to the iOS prompt. Changed your mind? Open Settings, go to Privacy & Security and switch it off whenever you like.
PulseSense: Heart Tracker
- Camera and flash. They’re used during a pulse check: the app watches tiny color shifts in your fingertip to estimate your heart rate. The camera feed only serves that reading and isn’t saved as a photo or video.
- Health readings. Your pulse results, plus any blood sugar and blood pressure numbers and notes you type in, stay in the app so you can look back. That info is used only to make the app work.
- Device details. Your phone model, iOS and app version, language, anonymous device IDs, usage stats and crash data keep the app running and show us how it gets used. Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AppsFlyer and Adapty help with analytics, crash reports and subscriptions.
QR Scanner – Scanra
- Camera. Reads QR codes and barcodes while the scanner is open.
- Photos. Only touched when you pick an image to scan, or save a code you made.
- Scan history. Codes you scan or create are kept on your iPhone so they’re easy to find again.
Scroll Protector - App Blocker
- Screen Time. We use Apple’s Screen Time tools to lock the apps you pick. The app handles which apps you chose (on your iPhone wherever possible), the time you spend in them and when they lock or unlock. It never reads what’s inside them.
- Camera and motion. During a workout the camera and motion sensors follow your moves to count reps. Video is analyzed live, on your phone or through secure services, and it’s never stored or recorded.
- Your details. If you choose to add things like your name or email, we use them to personalize the app. The core features work without them.
- Progress. Finished workouts, earned minutes and streaks are saved so you can see how it’s going.
SmartBooster and SnapBooster
- Photos and videos. Used to spot duplicates, look-alikes, screenshots, blurry shots and big videos, and to shrink or sharpen the ones you choose. The cleanup scan runs on your iPhone, and your library isn’t uploaded to us.
- Contacts. Used to find and merge duplicates. Nothing in your address book changes until you confirm.
- Private space and secret contacts. Whatever you hide stays on your device behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. We don’t keep a copy.
- Speed test (SnapBooster). To clock your connection, the app swaps a little test traffic with a measurement server. Like any site you open, that server can see your IP address.
Analytics, crash reports and ads
Like most apps, ours lean on analytics and crash-reporting services. They show us which screens get opened, whether features behave, and what was going on right before something broke. Along with that come technical details such as your device model, iOS version and language, and in some apps your IP address and approximate location. Each app’s own policy lists the specifics.
To figure out which of our ads actually bring people in, we work with ad and attribution partners. They only get your device’s advertising ID if you tap “Allow” on the iOS tracking prompt. Pick “Ask App Not to Track” and neither they nor we can see it. You can flip this whenever you want: open Settings, tap Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
This website itself doesn’t set cookies or run analytics or trackers.
Paying for things
Apple sells and bills every subscription and in-app purchase through the App Store, and it’s Apple that holds your card, billing address and Apple ID. All we get is what it takes to switch on what you paid for, like which plan is active and when it renews.
Who else gets data
- Apple: it distributes our apps, takes payments and, if you’ve allowed it in your iPhone settings, passes crash reports along to developers.
- Service providers and affiliated companies that help us run things: analytics, crash reporting, ad measurement and attribution, and cloud hosting. They can only use the data to do that job for us.
- Authorities, but only if a law says we have to.
- Whoever takes over an app or our company down the road, and they’d have to keep your data as safe as this policy promises.
Selling your personal data? Not something we do.
Why we’re allowed to use it
We stick to the GDPR and Serbia’s Law on Personal Data Protection. Here’s what we rely on:
- Running the app you asked for, like saving your history or unlocking a plan.
- Your OK for the camera, photos, contacts, Screen Time and tracking. Take it back in your iPhone settings whenever you want.
- Our legitimate interests in keeping the apps stable and safe, and seeing in broad strokes how they’re used.
- The law, for example when we reply to a valid request from an authority.
How long we keep things, and where
Anything saved inside an app lives on your iPhone until you erase it or delete the app. Heads-up: iOS can include app data in iCloud or computer backups, and those are yours to manage.
Our analytics and crash-reporting partners hold their data for a limited time, then erase it or roll it up into anonymous stats. Your emails to us stick around for as long as we need them to help you and to remember what we agreed on.
A few partners handle data beyond Serbia and the EEA, in the United States for instance. When that happens, we lean on recognized safeguards like the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
You’re in control
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- show you what we have on you and send you a copy;
- fix anything that’s wrong;
- erase it;
- use it less, or stop a use that rests on our legitimate interests;
- hand it over to you, or to another service, in a standard format.
Email apps@golarix.info and mention the app you use. We might ask a quick question to make sure it’s really you, and you’ll hear back within a month. Removing an app from your iPhone wipes whatever it stored there.
If you feel we got something wrong with your data, please tell us first so we can make it right. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Serbia, or with the privacy regulator where you live.
Live in California or another US state with its own privacy law? You get similar rights to know, fix and erase your data, and to opt out of targeted ads. Turning tracking off on your iPhone takes care of that last one.
Kids
Our apps aren’t made for kids. PulseSense and SnapBooster aren’t meant for anyone under 13, and SmartBooster, Scanra and Scroll Protector set the bar at 16. Collecting anything from children knowingly isn’t something we do. Think a child has sent us personal info? Let us know and we’ll erase it.
Keeping it safe
Anything our apps send over the internet is encrypted on the way. Only the people who need the data for their work can get to it. Still, nothing online is bulletproof, so lock your iPhone with a passcode and keep iOS updated.
When this policy changes
Whenever we update this policy, the date up top changes too. For bigger changes, we’ll also post a notice in the app.
