SnapBooster Privacy Policy

How SnapBooster handles your information. Published by GOLARIX LLC doo.

About this policy

This page is about SnapBooster, an iPhone app from GOLARIX LLC doo: what it gathers, what that’s for, and what you can do about it. Our general Privacy Policy covers every Golarix app and sits alongside this one.

What stays on your phone

  • Photos and videos. SnapBooster looks through your library on the iPhone itself to find duplicates and near-identical shots, and works on a picture only when you ask it to enhance that one. Your library isn’t uploaded to us.
  • Contacts. The app reads your address book to spot duplicates and outdated entries, and changes it only after you confirm.
  • Private space. Photos, videos and contacts you hide are kept on the device behind Face ID or your passcode. We hold no copy, so we can’t bring them back if the app is deleted.

What the app collects

SnapBooster’s privacy label on the App Store lists three kinds of data:

  • Identifiers: a user ID and a device ID.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the app, plus other information about how it’s used.
  • Diagnostics: crash data.

The same label marks all of it as not linked to you, so it isn’t tied to your name, email address or any other detail that says who you are.

Why it’s collected

  • Analytics: user ID, device ID, interaction and other usage data, and crash data show us what works and what needs fixing.
  • Making the app work: the user ID and device ID keep its features running for you.
  • Personalization: the device ID helps tailor the app to you.
  • Our own advertising and marketing: the device ID is used for ads and marketing that we run ourselves.

Tracking, only with your OK

The label also notes that identifiers may be used to track you across apps and websites run by other companies. It won’t happen unless you tap Allow on the App Tracking Transparency prompt from iOS. Say no, and the advertising identifier stays out of reach for us and for anyone we work with. You can revisit the choice whenever you like: go to Settings, tap Privacy & Security, then tap Tracking.

The speed test

When you run a speed test, the app sends and receives a little test traffic through a measurement server. Like every site your phone talks to, that server can see your IP address.

Paying for Premium

Apple sells and bills every SnapBooster purchase via the App Store. Your card, billing address and Apple ID stay with Apple; we only learn what’s needed to unlock what you bought, such as whether a plan is active and when it renews.

Who else sees it

  • Apple, which distributes the app, handles payments and, if your iPhone settings allow it, forwards crash reports to developers.
  • Companies that work for us on analytics, crash reports, ad measurement and hosting. They may use the data only to do that work.
  • Authorities, when a law leaves us no choice.

We don’t sell personal data, SnapBooster’s included.

How long it’s kept

Whatever SnapBooster saves on your phone is kept on the phone, and it’s gone once you delete it or uninstall SnapBooster. Analytics and crash data are held for a limited time, then erased or folded into anonymous statistics. If you email us, we keep the conversation as long as we need it to help you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Serbia’s Law on Personal Data Protection, you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or erase it, to limit or stop how we use it, to move it elsewhere, or to drop a consent you gave. Send the request to apps@golarix.info; we may check it’s really you, and we answer within a month.

You can also go to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Serbia or to the regulator in your own country. In US states with their own privacy laws, switching off tracking on your iPhone opts you out of targeted ads.

Kids

SnapBooster isn’t meant for anyone under 13, and gathering data from children on purpose isn’t something we do. Suspect a child has sent us personal details? Tell us and we’ll remove them.

Keeping it safe

Data the app sends over the internet travels encrypted, and only people who need it for their job can reach it. Nothing online is risk-free, though, so keep a passcode on your iPhone and install iOS updates.

When this policy changes

Each revision moves the date at the top of this page. If a change is a big one, a notice will also appear in the app.
